The Yemeni Armed Forces announced, on Sunday evening, that they had carried out 1,732 precise and direct targeting operations, using warplanes, drones, field artillery and launchers, against legitimate military targets belonging to the Houthi militia, in conjunction with the advance of their forces on the attack axes as part of Operation “Yemen Dawn”.

The official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nuzaili, said in a statement that the targets included fortifications and defensive sites, major and advanced command and control centers, observation and reconnaissance points, artillery positions and launchers, muster and reinforcement areas, weapons and ammunition stores, vehicles and means of transportation and supply, in addition to high-value military targets in depth.

According to the statement, the operations resulted in the neutralization of more than 900 militia members, the destruction and damage of more than 287 military vehicles, means and equipment, the silencing of sources of hostile fire, the confusion of the command and control system, and the disruption of the payment of reinforcements and supplies.

Colonel Al-Nazili explained that the forces continue to penetrate the militia's defensive positions, expand the scope of advance, and continue offensive operations in accordance with the operational plan.

In Al-Jawf Governorate, the forces of the Sixth Military Region continued their combat operations within the same operation, and engaged in continuous confrontations with the Houthi militia along the battle lines in the governorate.

Military aircraft and drones, with the participation of artillery and rocket launchers from the region, launched strikes targeting the militia’s sites, fortifications, concentrations, command centers, weapons and ammunition stores, and artillery positions on the battle fronts and areas under its control.

The military operations in Al-Jawf led to dozens of deaths and injuries among the militia's ranks, in addition to the destruction and damage of a number of its combat vehicles and equipment, in light of the continuing confrontations and strikes carried out by the armed forces on various fronts of the governorate.
