Al-Qassam describes the 7th of October as a great crossing, and Hamas affirms: an honorable station in the history of our people

Gaza - Ofoq News - Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, published pictures describing the 7th of October as the Great Crossing.

The official Al-Qassam website broadcast several photos, in addition to a clip of the Phalange’s military choir, “Roaring the Flood.”

The pictures and clip commemorate the first moments when hundreds of fighters penetrated the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Hamas movement described, on the third anniversary of the Al-Aqsa flood, October 7, 2023, as an honorable historical milestone in the ongoing struggle project, and the title of a lofty national epic.

She said that resistance is a legitimate right until the occupation is defeated and the land and holy sites are liberated.

She added: "On this day, October 7, 2023 AD, and on the anniversary of the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, all the meanings of heroism, steadfastness and national cohesion were embodied on the proud land of Gaza, and the world made the voice of our oppressed people heard after decades of neglect, identification and complicity with occupation policies seeking to liquidate our cause and our inherent right to self-determination."

She continued: "On this glorious day in the history of our people, we salute on this blessed day our great Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Jerusalem, who were and still are the rock on which all plans for displacement and extermination are shattered. The heroic scenes of the influx of citizens and their direct return to their homes and the rubble of their neighborhoods are nothing but conclusive evidence of the depth of their roots in their land and their rejection of all projects of displacement and ethnic cleansing, and a decisive message to the occupier and its supporters that the land belongs to its honorable original owners."

She stressed that the Al-Aqsa flood was a natural response and the culmination of bitter suffering imposed by the occupation through decades of aggression, stifling siege, systematic killing, and deprivation of rights, and in light of the plans being hatched aimed at Judaizing our land and our sanctities, resolving sovereignty over the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and abusing our heroic prisoners. The spirit of the flood is still alive in our people and our nation, and is renewed by adhering to the constants and defending our legitimate rights. The attempts of the occupation and its supporters to claim that the battle began on October 7 is a clear falsification of reality and motives. The conflict with the enemy did not begin on that day, and its final chapters had not yet been written.

She explained that the crimes of the occupation led to an accelerating erosion of its alleged legitimacy and an unprecedented decline in its support, even among its traditional allies in the Western world. The withdrawal of delegations from United Nations meetings is only an indication of its transformation into a pariah entity and a moral and political burden on the world.

She indicated that she will continue to work on building a unified national strategy of struggle, in which all Palestinians participate, as the only way to confront the plans of the fascist occupation government.

The Hamas movement and the Palestinian resistance factions affirmed their commitment to implementing their obligations under the ceasefire agreement, and their keenness, in cooperation with the mediators, to make it a success. At a time when the enemy continues its blatant violations and its systematic war to tighten the siege and deepen the humanitarian catastrophe against civilians, we hold the American administration and the guarantor mediators responsible for obligating the occupation to implement its obligations, as well as implementing the road map agreed upon by the movement, leading to a comprehensive and complete end to all forms of aggression, and relief for our people,Reconstruction, and complete withdrawal from the Strip.

The International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice called for the prosecution of the perpetrators of genocide, led by the war criminal Netanyahu, the terrorist members of his government, and his criminal army gang, and to ensure that they do not escape punishment, out of respect for international law and human justice.
