- The International Film Festival in Marrakesh revealed, on Monday, the inclusion of the film “The Weakest of His Creatures,” starring Ahmed Helmy and Hend Sabry, in the list of “celebration screenings” within the activities of its 23rd session, where the film will be shown internationally for the first time before its official launch in cinema halls in Egypt and the Arab world. The film “The Weakest of His Creatures” brings together the artists Ahmed Helmy and Hend Sabry for the first time on the cinema screen, and they have never co-starred in any television series.
The film is written and directed by Omar Hilal, and its events revolve around “a zoologist who strives to take care of zoo animals despite the neglect they suffer, and amid the economic and family pressures he suffers, he finds himself facing a moral challenge in which his integrity and values are at stake.” The world premiere of the film “The Weakest of His Creatures” will come days after the launch of the film “Hadouta”, starring Ahmed Helmy, in Egyptian and Arab cinemas starting on November 11.
The film “The Weakest of His Creatures” is scheduled to be shown within the activities of the 23rd International Film Festival in Marrakesh, which runs from the 20th to the 28th of this November.
